Bottom line. 46 of 48 failed renewals today (96%) failed for one reason: no card token was ever stored at the original purchase, so the renewal aborts inside our plugin and never reaches BridgerPay. Every one of these subscriptions started after January 30, 2026, which is when payment details stopped saving. Only one was a genuine declined card. Root cause is covered in the BridgerPay evidence pack.

One thing to watch

35 other orders were declined by the processor today (insufficient funds, do not honor, pick up card, Customer Vault permission code 300, and others), but those are first-purchase checkouts, not renewals, so they are excluded here. The Customer Vault code 300 declines are worth watching, because the same vault-permission issue is now appearing on brand new checkouts, not just renewals. That is live sales being declined at the door, and it is covered separately in the BridgerPay and NMI thread.
